What is the importance of Matariki? - Matariki used to determine the crop season for the Maori, it is now seen as an important time to celebrate Earth
When do you know its Matariki? - During the 6th of June onward you are able to see the 7 stars as they shine much brighter during that time period
What are some rituals Maori do during Matariki? - Rituals during Matariki consist of making a hangi when you can see the stars, people also fly kites, grow crops and remembering those who haved passed
